Liars at Work - Liars in Life - and The Lying Boss
Friday Nov 20, 2020
Friday Nov 20, 2020
It's always the lie that leads to big trouble. Watergate. Vietnam. Bill Clinton's Impeachment. The "Lying-Leads-to-the-Downfall" list is Huge!
Currently, we have an outgoing president who easily lies about everything even the COVID 19 Pandemic. The virus is ravaging the United States yet, amazingly some people are still believing Trump's lie.
This episode is about Lying Bosses and the damage they do.
As you prepare for Thanksgiving week, please talk to each other, honestly and openly, One-On-One. Make a plan. Most importantly, stay safe.
Here is the link to the wonderful website that I used to document the lies and bullying that President Trump has been responsible for during the last five years.

Name-Calling -The Bully President – Wanting Ice Water - Communications 101
Saturday Nov 14, 2020
Saturday Nov 14, 2020
What is your worst memory of being bullied as a kid? I’m talking about name-calling. I’ve got two that I still remember and feel embarrassed about even though they happened to me more than 50 years ago. I talk about one in this podcast episode. Our Lame-Duck excels at name-calling. Most of us outgrew this by the time we graduated grade school. But he still does it. Horrible.
Back to my memory, I have a “fat nose,” my cousin would pick on me about my nose and say, “look at the piggy-nose, oink, oink.” Then she would grab me and push my nose up. And damn it, it did look like a little piggie nose. Writing this now, I am embarrassed and feel self-conscious about my nose. That stayed with me all my life.
How long will it take us to recover from the verbal toxins this president has spewed on our country? I don’t know. But I hope it will happen soon, along with a better response to COVID and our grave economic problems.

The 2020 Election Continues - So Does My TV Watching!
Friday Nov 06, 2020
Friday Nov 06, 2020
It is NOT an option for me to turn off the television on Election Night in America. For me, it is the World Series, the Super Bowl, and the Oscars all wrapped up into one glorious night. But like the rest of 2020, Election Night is trying our patience. We are still counting votes. And as I remain glued to the TV, I wince at phrases like these, "Biden is on the CUSP winning the election," "We are on the verge of having a decision on the Presidency." It's a "Razor's Edge vote." VOTE ALERT! KEY RACE ALERT! None of the Alerts are real alerts. The one real laugh happened when, after Trump's ridiculous Thursday night comments CNN Anchorman, Anderson Cooper said, "Trump is like an obese turtle, flaying on his back in the hot sun, after realizing his time is over."
That could be the "sound bite" of the year because it sums up 2020! The only thing that saved me from descending into madness was my Sister, Elizabeth, and my nephew; Joey came to visit and watch the returns with me. Thanks both of you! After all that, they agreed to take part in this podcast episode.

Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
Tuesday Nov 03, 2020
Well, we made it. It's been a tough political road to Nov. 3. I'm watching the election results come in with high hopes. I'm praying that we will elect a kinder, more inclusive President who will represent all of us. Not just the Rich and the Racists.

Political Woman: One-On-One With Millennial Joey Garcia
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
We are going through some rough times in America. Through it all, I realize more and more every day, how badly our leaders "COMMUNICATE!" The Presidential Debate Sucked! Rudeness and Bullying won out over information and communication. Trying to get the right information on the President's COVID Infection is impossible. People refuse to wear masks. Why are we so DUMB! Wearing masks is not a political issue. It's a MEDICAL ISSUE!
I'm FRIED. BUT! I did clean my closet. I have photos, I'm working on a video, but I'm so embarrassed by the BEFORE PICTURES. Those pictures are a statement about my depression and how much the pandemic has changed my life. The good news, my loved ones, My sister and my nephew, came for a visit, and we had a blast!
This Episode of One-On-One is with Joseph Garcia, one of my favorite Millennial's; I have many! Please Subscribe. Please Share. And Let me know how you are feeling and what you think!

Happy Thursday Cheesecake! Being Happy in September and Always
Thursday Sep 10, 2020
Thursday Sep 10, 2020
This day began quite happily, thank you! And thank you, my daughter. She surprised me with cheesecake—a beautiful thing to behold. I started thinking about all the surprises in my life, and not just sweet ones on a plate. Some co-workers in my career surprised me by being totally, unexpectedly wonderful.
I'm thinking about the University bullies. On the one hand, I had two bullies giving me hell; on the other, I had this particular co-worker.
This one special man taught me how to edit videos. And he saved me from the bullies. Today's September-Happy podcast is about appreciating the people in your life. Because not everybody lets you know how much they appreciate you. So say it. Communicate it, One-On-One! You and they will be happy you did.
